Micheal Ó Muircheartaigh to officially open  Gaelscoil de hÍde in Oranmore

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Broadcaster and Irish language activist Micheal Ó Muircheartaigh will be in Oranmore tomorrow to officially open the new Gaelscoil de hÍde building

He officially opened the All-Irish primary school's original building on the Old Bog road in 1994 and returns tomorrow to cut the ribbon

Also among the guests for the noon ceremony will be former principals Karen Ní Bhrógáin and Máirín Ní Chartúir and retired PP of Oranmore Fr. John O'Dwyer

The state of the art new primary school, which has 430 pupils, opened its doors in 2014 and tomorrow's event is open to the public
