Monroe's Tavern has won the IMRO award for best live music venue in Connacht for 2026
The Westend venue received the honour At an awards ceremony held yesterday at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin.
Venues and music festivals around the country such as Vicar Street in Dublin and Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co. Laois, also received honours.
Opened in 2009, Monroe's Live is a venue with a capacity of 400 and has hosted acts such as Kodaline, Texas and Damien Dempsey.
