A pupil from Mountbellew has placed second at the Law Society Gráinne O’Neill Memorial Legal Essay Competition
Aishling Heavey of Holy Rosary college was one of 34 students to attend the special awards ceremony in Dublin.
More than 500 essays were submitted by TY students from 67 schools acorss the country.
Each of the essays explored the topic: Protecting Voices, Preventing Harm: Legal Challenges in Online Freedom of Speech.
