A local community is appealing for national support for a 12 year old Galway girl facing life-changing injuries.
Izzy Sallis from Mullagh is paralysed from the neck down and needs a ventilator, after an issue with a surgery carried out last October.
As she needs 24/7 care, locals in her village will hold a fundraiser at Monroe's in Galway city this evening.
An online auction is also being run through the Izzy's Fight Facebook page, until the 21st of April.
