Volunteer Ireland has honoured two Galway natives for their decades of volunteer work for the Scouts.
Seán Breathnach from Renmore and John O’Toole from Castlelawn Heights are former members of the 1st Galway St. Joseph’s Scout Group and as adults were scout leaders.
The duo was recognised in the Children and Youth category for their dedication to youth development across the City.
The ceremony took place in the Carlton Hotel Blanchardstown.
