New handbook launched for city resident associations

Galway City Council has launched a new handbook for resident associations across the city.

It's been designed to provide clear, accessible information for existing and emerging groups.

This new handbook will cover topics like establishment, good governance, effective communication, funding opportunities and collaboration action with the local authority.

It's available online at GalwayCity.ie, and printed copies will be available at a series of public information sessions in the coming weeks.
