New interactive maps - called Wonder Wander Trails - have been launched for Galway city centre and Eyre Square.
The walking trails showcase Architectural Conservation Areas across the city, along with an easy-follow path and historic facts.
There are also maps - which are free and available to download or pick up as hard copies at council offices - for Ballinasloe and An Spidéal.
They were created in partnership with the Architectural Conservation Officers at the city and county councils and the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage
Architectural Conservation Officer with the City Council Michael Scott has been speaking to Sarah Slevin at the city launch
All Wonder Wander Trails are available in PDF format at buildingsofireland.ie
