Night-time restrictions on Tully/Tullycross water supply in Connemara have been lifted.
The restrictions were introduced over the Christmas due to low reservoir levels caused by a drop in the raw water quality entering the local treatment plant.
Uisce Éireann says following works at the plant and local efforts to conserve water, the restrictions have been lifted.
Water levels continue to be reviewed daily so the water authority says while the restrictions might be lifted, the Tully/Tullycross community should be mindful of their water use.
