The night-time water restrictions on Inis Oírr have been lifted
They were in effect nightly between 11pm and 7am throughout the summer months in order to conserve water on the Aran Island.
Uisce Éireann says water reserves on the island have recovered and are currently sufficient to ensure a continuous water supply going into the autumn.
The water authority will continue to monitor the supply
