Irish Rail says reports that catering services on ALL of its intercity trains, including Galway, will be restored before the end of the year are not correct.
Irish Rail Communications Manager Barry Kenny says there is no provider, and no restoration date, at this time.
However, Mr Kenny says the company is continuing to engage with potential suppliers to identify cost-effective solutions.
Services were suspended across the network in March 2020 because of the Covid pandemic.
