Protestors defiant at Galway fuel depot amid looming Defence Forces intervention

There's no sign yet of the Defence Forces at Galway Harbour, as a blockade continues at the fuel depot.

It comes after confirmation that Gardaí are seeking their assistance in clearing blockades from critical infrastructure.

Protests are currently active at depots in in Galway and Limerick, as well as Ireland's only oil refinery at Whitegate in Cork.

This protestor told James Varley they're not going anywhere.
