NTA approves funding for pedestrian crossing on St Joseph's Road in Portumna

The National Transport Authority has approved funding for a pedestrian crossing on St Joseph's Road in Portumna.

Local residents have been calling for a walkway along the busy route for years, and it's hoped it will be installed in the next year.

Loughrea Independent Ireland Councillor Declan says the crossing will greatly help improve road safety:
