The ongoing active travel works in Castlepark and Ballybane are a "nightmare" for both commuters and residents.
That was the mood at City Hall last night as the major projects to install dedicated bus and cycle lanes were discussed.
Councillors spoke of road hazards, potholes, falling hoarding and various other obstacles plaguing the works, which are expected to continue until the middle of next year.
Management pledged to have their team on the ground meet with councillors to examine the works and address any issues.
Fine Gael Councillor Shane Forde says no-one is against the projects - but how they've been handled leaves a lot to be desired.
