Permission is being sought for two significant housing developments in Ballinasloe town.
One is aiming to build 74 new homes at Dunlo, and the other 63 units at Kilgarve.
The larger is the two projects is led by Limehill Esker Claregalway, which plans to build 74 new homes at a site off Harbour Road, backing onto the existing Meadowbrook estates.
It'd be a mix of detached and semi-detached homes, in a mix of two, three and four bed units.
Meanwhile, Brackenside Investment LTD is looking for permission to build 63 homes at site that would be accessed through the existing Rath Glas estate off the R357.
These would be a mix of single, two, three and four bed units - and the project would be advanced in two phases, the first involving 40 homes.
County planners will make a decision on both projects in February.
