'Profound disappointment' as construction of new Bish College Campus in limbo

The Bish school says there is 'profound disappointment' over a further delay to construction of its major new facility in Dangan.

The project, which is more than 20 years in the making, has not been included in the Department of Education's list of priority projects for 2026 and 2027.

The one-thousand-student campus received planning permission in 2024, and the school says the design is complete and it will be tender-ready within months.

Principal of St. Joseph’s Patrician College (The Bish), Sarah Gleeson explains the gravity of the omission from the Government's plans
