Public meetings on community safety to take place across Galway in May

Public meetings will take place across Galway on community safety.

The meetings have been organised by the County Councils Local Community Safety Partnership (LCSP).

Meetings will take place from 11am to 1pm and 2-4 pm at Tuam Library on the 1st of May, Loughrea Library on the 8th of May and An Cheathrú Rua and Oughterard on the 15th of May.

Residents will have the opportunity to raise concerns and suggest solutions to improve community safety directly with the LCSP.

LCSP Vice Char Aodán McDonagh, says that the process is designed to ensure a plan reflects lived experiences across the county.

A countywide online survey is also available for those unable to make the meetings at the County Councils website, www.Galway.ie.
