Public seminar to help Galway businesses prepare against cyber-attacks

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A free seminar will take place this month to help businesses across Galway to prepare for potential cyber-attacks.

The virtual event is part of the free Cyber Security Summit organised by Innovation Technology AtlanTec Gateway and Cyber Ireland.

It comes as recent research shows that 60 percent of SME's have reported at least one cyber-attack over the past year.

Almost half have also admitted they have no understanding of how to protect themselves against an attack of this kind.
