The Renmore Masterplan is causing a 'divide in sports club' and 'fear among neighbours'.
That's according to City East Councillor Shane Forde, who has raised the issued at a recent meeting at City Hall, after hearing concerns from the local community.
The third public consultation of the plan, which is essentially a blueprint for the future development of amenities such as sports facilities, playgrounds and public spaces, has been completed.
The City Council says they have been engaging with local groups and clubs, and the plan is designed to be a benefit to the whole community, not just sports clubs.
