Renmore residents are "deeply frustrated" by an ongoing stalement over a planned greenway in the area.
That's according to Councillor Shane Forde, who says Galway City Council spent millions acquiring land for the link between Liam Mellows GAA and Renmore Road.
But it's remained stalled for years - and it's understood it's related to security concerns at Dun Ui Mhaoiliosa barracks.
Fine Gael Councillor Forde told told Galway Talks this is badly needed - and he cannot understand how a solution cannot be found.
