Ribbon to be cut on redeveloped Banagher pool in East Galway

The ribbon will officially be cut on the redeveloped Banagher Outdoor Pool in East Galway tomorrow, Thursday April 23rd.

Despite the name, the amenity is actually located on the Galway side of the River Shannon.

It's been in use for several decades, though a major overhaul was recently completed.

It'll be officially opened by Enterprise Minister Peter Burke on Thursday at 11am.

Local Fine Gael Councillor Alan Harney says it's a fantastic amenity.
