Galway Bay fm newsroom - The road has reopened following a collision at Bohermore in which a female pedestrian was knocked down.
The incident took place at 2pm in the area outside the former Shannon Dry Cleaners.
The road from Bohermore roundabout to Prospect Hill was closed for a time but has now reopened.
A 29 year old woman is being treated at UHG for non-serious injuries.
