2024 is continuing to see a steady decline in interest in new EVs in Galway, with sales down by 40 percent.
That's a larger decrease than the national average, with sales down across the country by a quarter.
The Society of the Irish Motor Industry, is calling for continued Government initiatives to boost EV sales.
It comes after October marked the ninth consecutive month of declining electric vehicle registration nationally, despite steady new car sales.
