Sinn Fein leader to address city event this afternoon

Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald will address a public meeting in the city this afternoon.

The event in Westside, entitled 'Make Galway Affordable' will focus on housing costs, energy bills, childcare pressures and growing financial strain facing families.

Speakers include Mary Lou McDonald, Finance spokesperson Deputy Pearse Doherty, and by-election candidate Mark Lohan.

The event takes place at Westside Community Centre this afternoon at 12.15pm.
