The Social Democrats party is proposing that Udaras na Gaeltachta becomes the housing authority for the Gaeltacht.
The party has just launched its five-point Gaeltacht Housing Plan at an event at the Máirtín Ó Cadhain statue in An Spidéal.
Míde Nic Fhionnlaoich, the party’s Galway West by-election candidate attened the event.
The Plan is aimed at addressing the shortage of affordable housing in Gaeltacht communities.
