Met Éireann has issued a status yellow fog warning for 17 counties including Galway from 4 this afternoon
It affects Galway, Offaly, Laois, Kildare, Wicklow and counties North of that line
Patches of fog and freezing fog are expected to get thicker this evening into tonight.
The warning begins at 4pm today and expires early tomorrow morning.
