Supermac's boss hails opening of Banner Plaza after 8-year hold up

The boss of Supermac's is hitting out at so-called serial objectors for delaying the opening of his new service station.

The Banner Plaza in County Clare officially opens today, eight years behind schedule.

It had intended to be opened around the same time as the Obama Plaza on the Offaly/Tipperary border.
