Supermac's has raised €40k fo the UNICEF Gaza Appeal at its annual charity fundraiser.
More than €32k of the figure was raised by suppliers, with the balance contributed by Pat and Una McDonagh.
Previous beneficiaries include Trócaire, the Simon Community, and the National Breast Cancer Research Initiative.
Supermac’s Managing Director Pat McDonagh said the event once again highlighted the generosity of the wider Supermac’s community and the importance of supporting humanitarian efforts.

UNICEF Ireland was represented on the night by Peter Power, Executive Director of UNICEF Ireland.
UNICEF also has a strong Galway connection through its Ambassador and Galway hurling star, Joe Canning.
