Taoiseach Michéal Martin is in Ballinasloe today for a series of engagements.
His key commitments include a tour of Scoil an Chroi Naofa, which finally now has a new school listed for construction after a campaign spanning three decades.
The Taoiseach will then officially open 74 new homes in the An Gort Fada and An Choill Fada housing developments.
