Local TD Mairéad Farrell is doubling down on the call for catering services to be reinstated on the Galway-Dublin train service.
Services were suspended across the network in March 2020 because of the Covid pandemic, but have resumed on some routes.
The Sinn Féin TD says the it's the second busiest route, but is still lagging behind the likes of Dublin/Cork and Dublin/Belfast.
She says the Transport Minister had said a catering service would return for Galway, but Irish Rail have been citing rising costs as a barrier to restoring services.
