Two local pastry chefs are set to compete in the Irish Patisserie Championships at the end of this month.
Julliette Simon is currently a pastry chef for Grá Chocolates and Asia Mahealani McDonagh has her own business 'Mahealani'.
They are two of six chefs that will compete live creating a plant based gourmandise dessert, a plated restaurant-style dessert and chocolate showpiece.
The winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Dubai and will have an opportunity to refine their skills alongside the world's top pastry chefs in l'École Valrhona.
