Údarás na Gaeltachta report shows 10,000 people employed in Gaeltacht enterprises

Nearly 10,000 people were employed in Gaeltacht enterprises in 2025.

That's according to the annual report from Údarás na Gaeltachta, which is being launched today in Indreabhán

Last year 681 new jobs were created, bringing total employment to 9,716 across seven counties.

Chief Executive of Údarás na Gaeltachta, Tomás Ó Síocháin, says that the housing crisi also needs to be addressed to further grow the gaeltacht.
