University of Galway is welcoming a major engineering centre, with investment from a leading multinational firm.
The Ward & Burke Centre for Infrastructure Research and Innovation is to be established alongside a new Signature Partnership with the Kilcolgan-based company.
Along with the new research centre, a new civil engineering professorship and a scholarship programme have been established.
