A Voter Registration Pop Up Shop will be in place at Eyre Square Galway City this weekend.
The Electoral Commission will take over the kiosk this Friday, Saturday, the bank holiday Monday and next Tuesday.
There will be a sample booth and ballot box to show people how the process works, with staff available to answer questions related to voting in the upcoming by-elections.
The opening times for the pop-up shop are as follows:
- Friday, 1 May: 12 – 5 pm
- Saturday, 2 May: 12 – 5pm
- Monday, 4 May: 11 – 4pm
- Tuesday, 5 May: 11 – 4pm
Voting for the Galway West by-election will take place on Friday May 22nd, with the deadline for registering to vote on May 5th.
