The winners have been announced for the Nollaig Shona ó Ghaillimh - Best Dressed Window Competition.
The initiative is part of Galway City Council's Shop Local, Shine Bright Christmas campaign, in association with Gaillimh le Gaeilge and Galway Chamber.
This competition invited local businesses to decorate their shopfronts and windows with creative displays that capture the spirit of Christmas in Galway, as well as the city's bilingual culture.
There were three categories, and each winner received a €1,000 local business voucher.
An Taispeántas is Cruthaithí/is Draíochta, The Most Creative/Magical Display category, was won by jeweller Heart in Hands on High Street.
Meanwhile, Helen Walsh Opticians at Middle Street took an award for An Úsáid is Fearr as an Gaelige, Best Use of the Irish Language.
The last category was decided by public vote - and it was An Taibhdhearc at Middle Street who claimed Gradam Rogha na nDaoine, the People's Choice Award.
