Woman taken to UHG following collision on road between Dunmore and Williamstown

A woman in her 30s has been taken to UHG following a two-vehicle collision at Ballintava between Dunmore and Williamstown

Emergency services attended the scene of the incident involving a car and a lorry at approximately 8:45 this morning.

The woman's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The road was closed for a few hours but has since re-opened and Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
