Almost 34,000 premises in Galway can now pre-order or order high-speed broadband.
National Broadband Ireland have confirmed that 12,000 homes, businesses and farms have connected already.
Works have been completed in most rural areas across the county, including those near Ballinasloe, Loughrea, Athenry and Maam
All Galway residents are encouraged to visit nbi.ie and check their Eircode to see if they’re ready to connect and find out more about placing an order.

As part of the national plan, Galway will receive €153m of Government investment.
