Works to start on new toilet and shower facilities at Ballyloughane Beach in coming months

Works are set to begin on new toilet and shower facilities at Ballyloughane Beach in Renmore within the next three months.

The overall cost of works are estimated to be upwards of €200,000, which includes the main unit, consultants and other related works.

The new toilet facilities will be similar to the ones in Salthill, and will also include an open shower.

Meanwhile Councillor Terry O'Flaherty has also confirmed they're also seeking to install a defibrillator at the location.
