Status yellow weather warnings for rain have been issued for six counties.
The first begins at 3pm tomorrow and will last until early Friday morning, for Galway, Clare, Limerick, and Mayo.
A second warning, beginning at the same time, includes Cork and Kerry, and expires on Friday afternoon.
Met Éireann says the possible impacts include localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
