The ongoing construction works on the Ballybane/Castlepark active travel schemes are now around 90 percent completed.
Over the coming weeks, there'll be resurfacing works, activation of traffic lights, and landscaping as the project reaches the finish line.
There has been some controversy over the project, particularly around how the works were carried out, and the narrowing of the road and junctions.
Local Fine Gael Councillor Shane Forde says the junctions are going to be looked at.
