Uisce Eireann is to undertake works to tackle repeat water outages in the Rahoon area of the city.
That's according to Galway West TD John Connolly, who says there's been up to 40 outages in the last few years.
He says the problem has affected areas on higher ground, such as Letteragh and Circular Road.
Fianna Fail Deputy Connolly says works to solve the problem are expected to get underway in 2026.
