The Flogas Irish Girls’ Amateur Open Golf Championship gets underway at Corrstown Golf Club (pictured) beside Dublin Airport tomorrow, with 72 of the best young amateur golfers from across Ireland and Europe competing across three rounds of stroke play. There are four Galway players in the field: Riona Murphy from Oughterard, Noreen O’Neill from Connemara and Galway duo Jade Harty and Tara Walsh. The Flogas Irish Girls’ Amateur Open Championship has long been a launching pad for many young amateur careers, with the likes of Leona Maguire and Olivia Mehaffey having lifted this trophy in the past. Play begins tomorrow at 10.30 am. The Galway girls' tee-times are below:
