Oughterard’s Kate Dillion has been selected on the Irish Women’s Team for the European Amateur Team Championship that will be held in Estonia next Month.
Dillion recently won the East of Ireland Championship in dramatic fashion beating her close friend Olivia Costello from Roscommon in a playoff.
Costello has also been selected along with Beth Coulter of Kirkistown Castle, Rebekah Gardner and Jess Ross from Clandeboye and Katie Poots from Knock.
Tuam’s Damien Coyle will captain the Irish Men’s team that includes recently crowned Amateur Open Champion Stuart Grehan and Thomas Higgins from Roscommon. Jessica Reynolds from Sligo has been named on the Girls Team and John William Burke from Ballyhaunis has been selected on the Boys team.
