ROADWORKS
Road resurfacing works on Lower Newcastle Road from the N6 Quincentennial Bridge Junction to the University Hospital Junction until Friday 29th May. The works are scheduled to take place four nights per week, Monday to Thursday, between the hours of 7:00pm and 6:00am.
Traffic management will be in place during these works and will include:
- Stop/Go systems
- Temporary lane closures
- Localised diversions where required
Until mid May Ballybane Road will be closed from Monivea Road to St. James Road. Monivea and St. James Roads will remain open. Local access only will be maintained.
401 and 405 Busses will also be diverted as per attached leaflet that has been distributed in the community
Roadworks on the N83 between Claregalway and the Parkmore Junction and will run until mid-May. Traffic management and lane closures will be in place during the works.
Motorists travelling to Galway are advised to divert from Claregalway towards Oranmore and use M6 Motorway via exit 19. Motorists travelling from Galway to Claregalway are advised to divert via City by M6 Motorway and exiting at Junction 19.
