What began at a kitchen table in Galway over a decade ago has grown into one of Ireland’s best-known natural skincare brands, now stocked in health stores and pharmacies across the country. But behind the success story is a fascinating journey rooted in science, sustainability and a determination to create products that were both effective and genuinely natural.
With a background in natural sciences from Trinity College Dublin and a PhD in conservation ecology, Dr Joanne combined scientific expertise with a passion for plant-based ingredients to launch Kinvara Skincare in 2012. The company has since built a loyal customer base thanks to its ethical approach, cruelty-free certification and focus on sustainable packaging and Irish manufacturing.
