An Cheathrú Rua are back in intermediate after winning the Primary Junior Football promotion play-off in An Spidéal on Saturday (9th November 2024).

Éanna Mac Cormaic's early goal gave them an advantage they never surrendered throughout the contest before pulling clear in the closing stages.

An Cheathrú Rua manager Maghnus Breathnach caught up with Mike afterwards.

They'll meet Mayo's Cill Chomáin next Saturday (16th November 16th) for the Connacht junior football championship semi-final.  Throw-in at Tuam Stadium is 1.30pm.
