Calling On GAA Clubs In Galway To Enter And Win A Training Session Plus Three Club Makeover Prizes Of €5,000

Kerry football legend and All-Ireland winner Colm “Gooch” Cooper is togging out with team Solgar this season to celebrate its 40th anniversary in Ireland.

The multiple All Ireland winner was on hand to reveal details of its Train Like A Legend, Support Your Club competition to mark four decades of Solgar nationwide.

Solgar, the official vitamin partner of the GAA/GPA and a leading provider of high-quality nutritional supplements is calling on clubs across Galway to enter and be in with a chance to win a training session with the former Kerry legend and benefit from a club makeover of €5,000. The second and third place runners up will each receive a makeover fund valued at €5,000. The prize fund can be used for club equipment, kit or other improvements.

The competition is focused on helping players, coaches and volunteers across the country to attain the highest standards and find their gold, the Solgar way.

Natalia Lobetska, Solgar said: “We’re delighted to partner with Colm Cooper, a true GAA legend who brought joy to fans in Kerry and across Ireland. As Solgar celebrates 40 years in Ireland, it’s fitting to team up with someone who embodies excellence and commitment, and who reflects the GAA’s strong spirit of giving back - values we deeply share. This milestone also strengthens our opportunity to connect with communities nationwide, particularly through our GAA/GPA partnership.”

Colm Cooper, Solgar Brand Ambassador said: “It’s an honour to team up with Solgar as part of its 40th celebrations. I am encouraging clubs across the country to take the opportunity to enter and to avail of a brilliant makeover prize which will benefit clubs and make a big difference. I am also honoured to have the opportunity to provide a training session to the winning club, and I look forward immensely to togging out, sharing some of my own insights as well as learning from the players, coaches and volunteers that I will have the chance to engage with as part of the coaching session.”
