Galway's Caltra Cuans have been named as one of 12 clubs who will feature at Croke Park on TG4 All-Ireland Finals day.
The club's Gaelic4Mothers&Others team will play alongside Wolfe Tones na Sionna (Clare), Railyard (Kilkenny), Naomh Séamas (Antrim), Moorefield (Kildare) and Truagh (Monaghan) in an exhibition game that will be played on the day.
The announcement was made by the Ladies Gaelic Football Association with the lucky teams chosen from a huge number of entries.
Applications closed recently and entries were open to U12 and Sports Direct Gaelic4Mothers&Others teams only.
Oola (Limerick), St John’s (Sligo), St Broughans (Offaly), Belcoo O’Rahillys (Fermanagh), Aherlow (Tipperary) and Ballinascreen (Derry) are the six U-12 teams who have been selected.
The 12 clubs can now begin making their plans for August 2, as they will be part of the action on TG4 All-Ireland Finals day.
The six TG4 All-Ireland Finalists will be confirmed over the next two weekends, with the Intermediate and Junior semi-finals down for decision next Sunday, July 12, followed by the Senior semi-finals on Saturday July 18.
