Ciarán Murphy chats to Galway Bay FM about his new book 'Old Parish'

Second Captains podcaster and Irish Times GAA columnist Ciarán Murphy has released his second book 'Old Parish' following a successful writing debut with 'This is the Life: Days and Nights in the GAA.'

A lifelong footballer from Milltown, he tells the story about taking up hurling with a tiny club in the West Waterford Gaeltacht.  Along the way, he embarked on a quest to understand the history, geography and mystique of this extraordinary sport.

Ciarán Murphy was chatting to Galway Bay FM's Ollie Turner.
