Clarinbridge Camogie and GAA Clubs will host a Community Day tomorrow from 2pm to 4pm at the GAA grounds to celebrate the official opening of the club's new Ball Wall and Astro Turf training facilities.
The event marks the first major milestone delivered under the club's Pathway to 2030 Facilities Development Plan and is the result of significant volunteer effort, community fundraising, local business support and grant funding.
The afternoon will feature juvenile blitzes and games, skills demonstrations on the new Ball Wall, family activities, refreshments and an opportunity for members of the wider community to come together and celebrate this important achievement for the parish.
The new facilities will provide year-round training opportunities for players of all ages across both clubs and represent a significant investment in the future of sport and community life in Clarinbridge.
To mark the occasion, John Mulligan was joined in studio by Juvenile Chairperson Paul D'Arcy, Executive Member Helen Ryan, Senior Hurler Shane Ryan and Senior Camogie Players Darina McCann and Hannah Jennings.
