Galway booked their place in the Walsh Cup Final after a 2-22 to 0-16 victory over Offaly in Duggan Park, Ballinasloe, on Sunday afternoon. The game was tighter than the scoreline suggested, as Galway went in five points to the good at half-time, leading 0-13 to 0-8. Offaly did manage to reduce that gap to three points at a stage in the second half, but Galway in the end were the stronger and won out by twelve points in the end. Galway will advance to take on Dublin at Parnell Park next weekend.
